Recycled Farmlands

Flying over Washington farmland inspired this Nouveau Twee. The circular patterns on the page represent the tractor rings made so precise in the dry, dusty, earth. The many textures, repetition and depth of the land ever so distant below me inspired this multi-textured page.

You may also see some hints of recycled twees popping and peering out behind the circular structure.

I almost didn't make it... well I still have about a week. One night this last week I

decided to work with pastels. I just started drawing some random things that

came to me while listening to music. I spent two separate nights working on

this piece. It was fun and it came out happy and bright. I hope you enjoy!
