Accidentally, I posted my inspired art piece on my blog instead of this one.
An easy affordable way to create on a budget and get the mind going is changing up fridge pictures, magnets, and pinning up inspiring quotes around, NOT just on Pinterest (the tendency I have).
My fridge change up pics are here:

C O L O R
I just read Kandyce's entry about not being so hard on ourselves as artist's. I feel like today I've been really hard on myself. I have been sick in bed today so I've been having fun looking at new blogs, new online magazines like this one...Lamy slenis and reading my new Vogue that came in the mail a couple days ago.
Anyway what I felt was that there are so SO SO many creative people that are so G R E A T at what they do. I felt this pressure to make something and I wasn't. I decided I need to create a fun G O A L calendar that will help M E make deadlines and start making more...so I can start my new website and hopefully ETSY account.
So thank you Kandyce! It's time to create but do it in a way that is healthy!!!

dresses
Yesterday Rob had the day off because of Presidents Day. So we took a little trip to San Francisco. Where we started off our day at our favorite bakery, Tartine. Then we walked the streets to the discount fabric store where I got some great linen fabric 40% off the already marked down price. My next creative adventure is to make this dress you see above. The picture was taken along time ago seeing that I have longer hair. Sorry the photo is so small. Anyway, I loved it and want to try making it.
The next few dresses you see were found in an article that was all about dresses being art. Why do they need to hang in our closets and never be seen expect when we where them? We can use them to decorate or to use them as fun visuals. I love this idea.
Well I hope you all have a great day!

29 ways to stay creative
H I.
I am not sure how these creative video's keeping coming up but I have another one to share. As an artist we all struggle with trying to stay creative and coming up with new idea's. This video has some great ways to stay creative.
Also loved this quote. I am always sticking quotes around my home. Kandyce shared one with me when I visited her last and it's hanging in my bathroom where I look at it every day. It's such a great reminder. Especially since I am so visual.
Have a G R E A T W E E K E N D!

the perfect video
I think about what this video is saying often. (Almost every day.) As a creative we are to create something out of nothing. Through reading, The Artist Way, I have learned a lot about myself as an artist. I was just talking with Kandyce about this today. Artist and well everyone has this certain amount of presure to create something out of nothing and for it to be GREAT. But what Ira Glass is saying in this video is that all of us go through an UGLY stage even if we have great style. I love what he says in the end. A Lot of people give up...but he says DON'T GIVE UP!!!
This video is one of the most inspiring things I've heard for myself in a long time. It's perfect!
Hope you like it.

my inspiration today.
INTERIOR DESIGN very much so inspires me. I adore it! I can't seem to ever get enough. I am looking for new idea's all the time and just enjoying others design and inspiration. Interior's just like any type of creative outlet let's you decide what you want to tell the world or express. It's a blank canvas, a white sheet of paper or an empty room to explore with exploration. It's time for all of us to find something and create something that wasn't there before. EXPLORE! See what you make.
This article was all in Norwegian or some language I can't read. If you want to see more of this woman's beautiful home visit my other blog where I am sharing the rest of it.

My very FRIST!
I have been told over and over...and over that zippers are impossible. So I have always stayed clear of making anything with a zipper. YET! I have seen so many things with zippers I wanted to re-create. So the other night I sat down and decided I would just DO IT! I love how my first ever zipper clutch turned out. It is designed to fold over itself like you see above. It become long!
My NEXT GOAL!
I want to start making clutches. I always am looking at CLARE VIVIER bags and other pinterest clutches and I decided I wanted to at least try to make my own. So here it goes. Next week I will attempt a leather tote and clutch but without a zipper. I want to try envelope style that you see in the first photo.(if you click on the highlighted pinterest above you will be directed to my pinterest account. Where I have some of my favorite bags and clutches.

Happy Valentines Day!
I love the & sign in bright red!!! I also thought this painting was super inspiring. It has great movement and color. A painting I could appreciate and not get tired of looking at. Also here's a chart on how the right and left brain works. It might get larger when you click on it. I love the pcychology beind how the brain works and how different the male and female brain are. I know I am more right brained because I am the creative type not as mathematical and structured.
Have a great day!

painting again...KB artist
| abstract |
This is my first painting I've painted in awhile. I like how my colors turned out and the movement the brush took across the canvas. It full of color and brightness. I also started another painting similar to this one but with different colors. Oh, and I have 2 drawn out which are beach scenes. I have never done people so this is a new thing for me. I am excited to try... wish me luck.

| I would love to visit the Patisserie and have one. Isn't the stack of color great. A great painting. |
Today I wanted to share my artist journal I made. I used all types of fun tape you can get online or fun little shops. I used it to tape down each fun artist task I made up. I am ready to start opening it up and creating when I feel an artist block. It's fun because it's a great way to do something creative but not overwhelming. If that makes since? Sometimes I want to paint but it takes awhile to get out everything and I dread it. I think if I have this journal I will get a little task of creating and just go paint!!! It will get me to JUST DO IT!
Here's are some fun colors that inspired me today. I am into the colors Black.Grey and White for my home and my personal wardrobe. But I am painting more with color and loving these fun bursts of bright color. What do you think of my saying I posted... I find this to be so true any area of life. We live in fear of being wrong.
Have a great weekend! Kimberly
